Victorian Spatial Information Strategy 2008-2010 now available This Strategy charts some of the changes occurring in spatial information and technology, and sets out the key challenges they pose. For the first time, the spatial information community as a whole, led by the Victorian Spatial Council, has played an integral role in developing the Strategy, and we all have a part to play in its delivery.

UDP MapsOnline: Interactive Mapping - 2007 data now available MapsOnline is a valuable interactive mapping and statistical tool for tracking residential and industrial land supply across metropolitan Melbourne and the Geelong Region. You can use MapsOnline to search for specific projects, generate reports and print or download maps and statistical reports. A users guide is also available.

Spatial Information Custodianship Program The Victorian Spatial Council (VSC) is implementing a Custodianship Program to promote the principles of Custodianship and increase the number of datasets being managed under formal Custodianship arrangements. New Fact Sheets and FAQ have been developed to aid in your understanding of Custodianship and your roles and responsibilites as a Custodian of data.
Water Register As part of the Victorian Government's water reforms to secure Victoria’s future water supplies, the Victorian Water Register was implemented for northern Victorian regulated systems on 1 July 2007. Other systems with transferable water entitlements will be progressively transferred to the Water Register.
The Coordinated Imagery Program (CIP) coordinates the purchase of aerial and satellite imagery for government and non-government organisations. Become involved in the program , CIP advisers will give you independent and authoritative advice that will suit your needs.
Vicmap Topographic - 1:30,000 A4 and A3 Maps Victoria's topographic maps are available across the entire state of Victoria at 1:30,000 scale in A4 ($2 each) and A3 ($4 each) format. They are immediately retrievable in PDF and created from the most up to date and maintained State Government Vicmap digital information. Custom Maps are now available where you can select your own area by drawing a box to create A4 ($2.50 each) or A3 ($5.00 each) maps. A $1.10 service fee applies to each order (includes GST).
First Home Owner Grant/Bonus The First Home Owner Grant was established to encourage and assist home ownership and to offset the effect of the GST by providing a grant to first homeowners.
