The Victorian Spatial Council has been established under the Victorian Spatial Information Strategy 2004-07 (VSIS).

Its members represent the peak spatial information associations for business, government, academia and the professions, and key interest groups.

All sectors will work together through the Council to lead a coordinated whole of industry approach to spatial information policy development, management and utilisation, and provide a mechanism for cross-sectoral consultation and liaison.

Spatial Information Custodianship Program

The VSC is implementing a Custodianship Program to promote the principles of custodianship and increase the number of datasets being managed under formal custodianship arrangements. To find out more please see the series of Fact Sheets and FAQ developed to aid towards a better understanding of custodianship.


VSC Minutes

From 2006 the VSC has been publishing the minutes of its monthly meetings.
