The next Newtech conference is being held on Thursday, 29th November 2007 at the Colac Otway Performing Arts & Cultural Centre (COPACC), Cnr Gellibrand & Rae Sts, Colac.
Early Bird registrations will now close on Friday 16th November 2007.
Newtech conferences are organised and hosted by Spatial Information Infrastructure (SII) of the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Newtech conferences have been providing people across rural and regional Victoria with information on the latest technologies in land information and land management for the past nine years.
The program features speakers covering a wide range of topics including a presentation on the insight into the many surveying challenges in the construction of the Southern Star Observation Wheel at Docklands by Ultimate Positioning, the SSI Award Winning Spatial Waste Collection & Incident Recording System at Hume Council, Mapping Emergency Locations by AusSoft, a presentation on Integrating spatial data with Virtual Earth Technology by Geomatic Technologies, an update on Spatial industry directions in Victoria, Australia and Internationally from the Director of Spatial Information Infrastructure (DSE) and much more.
