Awareness Guidelines for Victoria
The current geospatial information environment in Victoria is complex, specialised, and difficult for “mainstream” and non-spatial sectors to use. Increased community awareness and understanding is required to ensure that geospatial information has widespread use and is used as an effective decision aiding tool amongst the traditional non-spatial users. An awareness program is required to manage this transformation to ensure that Victorians get the full benefit of geospatial information, as it becomes available.
