Surveyor-General Victoria (SGV) supports many major State Government infrastructure projects.
SGV ensures that the survey data and plans prepared for the projects is of a consistently high standard and encourages digital submission where possible.
A specialist Crown Survey Approval (CSA) team approves - Crown plans and surveys and provide advice for major government infrastructure projects.
Recent milestones achieved by the CSA team include:
- approval of survey plans to remove 75 level crossings under the Level Crossing Removal Project
- up-to-date mapping of the Great Ocean Road
- support for road, rail, hospital, school and prison infrastructure projects worth $70 billion.
